Commercial Real Estate Agents – Create a Listing Kit that Converts More Listing Business

In real estate sales and leasing you should carry with you a listing kit that can be used at short notice with any property presentation or meeting.  You never know when some opportunity for a listing will arise.

Your Real Estate Listing Kit should contain a mixture of the following:

  • Market information about sales, leasing and new developments
  • Your business card with all relative contact detail
  • A brochure about your office and its capability
  • A photograph of your office and all staff
  • Copies of recent newspaper and website ads
  • A resume of quality properties recently sold or leased
  • Testimonials – letters from satisfied sellers and purchasers
  • A ‘handout’ of local town or city information relating to the population and the business community
  • A copy of at least one recent Press Release and Editorial used in a quality listing
  • Property management information and services – residential and commercial/industrial
  • Auction checklist
  • Residential and rural sales checklist
  • Commercial/industrial sales checklist
  • Valuations or appraisals checklist
  • Business sales checklist
  • Property development and project sales or project leasing checklist
  • Key marketing strategies both online and offline
  • Locational based marketing programs
  • Database information and marketing
  • Graphs relating to time on market and the current levels of enquiry
  • Electronic marketing samples including website listings and blogs
  • Exclusive and auction marketing programs (4 of each)
  • Tender and expressions of interest programs (4 of each)
  • Statistical data regarding the sales success rates of open, exclusive, tender, expressions of interest and auction property. As well, include your own office’s statistics
  • All listings forms
