Canvassing Form for Commercial Sales and Leasing Agents
The best way to grow a database of contacts is to capture information when you see it on a canvassing form. There are different ways to do that, and the traditional ‘template form’ is a good way to approach the process.
This form is from a group of templates we are sending out to our friends online. If you want to get the series, then you can sign up here below.
Templates are Practical and Useful
You can carry the forms everywhere and particularly so when you are out in your territory or zone. When you see something you believe has real estate potential, then you write down the information.
At the end of the day, you can go through your forms and decide what action you will take on each issue. The form doesn’t replace a database or online client list; it just enhances the whole process. Give it a try.
How do you use the form? It is printable as an A4 PDF in a standard copier, and when you have done that, you can split the form down the middle so you have two forms to use.
Alternatively, get the form printed on a ‘ream of paper’ and then cut in half (more economical). You will have enough canvassing forms to last you for months. Enjoy the new momentum that the template can give you.
Organise Your Information
At the end of each day, you should have a number of forms that you can enter into your database. Writing things down does work exceptionally well from a new business perspective. You have to start somewhere, and the template form is good for that. When you see the situation or property information around you, simply write it down.
